As person who has lived in different countries, with friends and contacts who speak different languages, I find myself in a HUGE dilemma!
Should I blog in Spanish? Should I blog in English? All in the same blog? Should I create two blogs; English and Spanish?
Now, if I create two blogs, I would need to translate every post I write in one language to the other… True, I can write different entries for each blog, each post specific to each blog and readers… However, 90% of the time I want to share something with BOTH group of friends and contacts!
So what’s the best thing to do??? Write in English and Spanish in the same blog?? Some of my Spanish speaking contacts dont speak English… and viceversa!… and there is also the whole bunch of readers that come randomly (or not) into my blog that just MAY NOT speak one or the other…
So what to do?
The same apply’s to twitter! To twit in one language? or both?
Please help!!!! What would you do?

Is there a way for your spanish speaking readers to translate the info? Like a link or something? Seems to me someone, somewhere could have created this?

Well.. that’s a good question… or maybe there is a tool for my English speaking readers to translate the spanish articles.

I just was using both languages, translating every single post… it depends if you plan to write a lot or just a couple of paragraphs…

Estoy con el mismo dilema. Yo tengo un blog de diseño (graphic-iti.com) y estaba escribiendo en ambos idiomas. Ahora estoy contemplando separar ambos idiomas con un subdomain. Y estoy viendo si el plugin de WPML es una alternativa viable. Aun voy a tradicir los articulos en ambos idiomas, pero el plugin promete facilidad de separacion de contenido.
